Andrew Ross has worked in the oil industry and academia as a geophysicist since 1991 most recently for Schlumberger in Denmark.

Andrew Ross Geophysical Consulting was founded in May 2015 primarily to provide training in theoretical geophysics and practical applications in Petrel mostly in collaboration with Schlumberger's NExT training network.

In addition to training through NExT's programme, we can offer bespoke training in theoretical geophysics and practical applications in Petrel developed using real-life training examples from a client's data portfolio. Our speciality is Petrel training course development in the areas of Quantitative Interpretation, Seismic Inversion and Seismic Interpretation.
