Introduction

Seismic interpretation is a cornerstone of successful exploration and production in the oil and gas industry. With advancements in seismic data processing and analytics, accurate interpretation has become both more challenging and more rewarding. This advanced course delves into sophisticated interpretation techniques, helping participants transform raw seismic data into actionable insights for strategic field development.

The objective of this course is to provide E&P professionals with knowledge of the latest in Seismic Interpretation techniques. The course will start with a summary of the basic knowledge required to understand the geophysics behind seismic interpretation and then move on to cover various topics in seismic interpretation including post-stack seismic attributes, AVO, seismic sequence stratigraphy, seismic geomorphology, 4D time-lapse seismic, and multidisciplinary integration. About The Trainer

Andrew Ross has worked in the oil industry and academia as a geophysicist since 1991 most recently for Schlumberger in Denmark.

Ph.D. geophysicist with 15 years industry and academic experience in reflection and refraction seismic interpretation and processing, focussing on quantitative interpretation, inversion, seismic attribute analysis and waveform modelling.
