This training course is a comprehensive course to highlight all principles and applications of reservoir engineering. Reservoir management is an ongoing, dynamic process of collecting, analyzing, validating, and integrating ALL reservoir description data and performance data into an optimal reservoir development and depletion plan. This course will introduce a practical view of reservoir management applications like reservoir geology, fluids, rocks, evaluation, production forecasting, material balance calculations, well testing analysis for reserve estimation, decline curve analysis, waterflooding design, reservoir fluid modeling, core data analysis and interpretation, and reservoir simulation. The course will highlight the technical background and practical application. The course progresses from the measurement fundamentals to the essential evaluation and assessment of the results and onto the practical application in example studies.
