Machine Learning for Petrophysics & Well Logging

For any formation evaluation, machine learning has proven to be quite important and crucial. Any petrophysical evaluation and field development plan study must take into account a number of logs, including as permeability, grain density, and shear and compressional slowness. In order to employ machine learning methods for missing log prediction, it became necessary to train them. Some algorithms are not available in commercial software, hence learning Python is required in order to utilize these algorithms in Google Collab or notebook programs like Jupyter or Spyder. We will also learn how to use Python script for various formation evaluation techniques in our course.
